With top three-row SUVs making a resurgence in Washington, Canonsburg, Bethel Park, and Pittsburgh--not only creeping back onto the scene thanks to low gas prices, but subtly growing bigger and more powerful--nobody was surprised when Subaru announced they were joining the party.

We were even less surprised to learn that it would not be a re-vamped version of the Tribeca, which--while being charming and capable--never really struck the same chords as other long-time Subaru favorites.
