Last week we checked out how Subaru SUVs compare to popular rivals--but what about the 2017 Subaru Legacy? If you've been considering the new Legacy in Washington, Canonsburg, Bethel Park, or Pittsburgh, you'll be pleased to know that this Subaru is topping the charts.
Midsize sedans are a great option for drivers looking for a lot out of their everyday driver, but who don't want to go all the way with a crossover. If trunk space is enough and fuel economy is a priority, sedans like the Legacy and those from Buick and Mazda could offer a good fit.
Compare the 2017 Subaru Legacy to Competition in Pittsburgh
Take a look at two of the most popular rivals to the 2017 Subaru Legacy and see why this all-wheel-drive sedan is ruling the roost in PA.
Mazda6
You may pay a few bucks less for the 2017 Mazda6, but is it worth it? The Subaru Legacy offers standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (equipment that is NOT available on the Mazda6), more horsepower through an available six-cylinder engine, great fuel economy, and industry-leading safety ratings and features.
Buick Verano
This Buick sedan also starts just a touch below the MSRP of the Legacy--but it suffers similar problems to the Mazda6: no available all-wheel-drive system, poor fuel economy, and lower maximum horsepower. The Verano just can't match the might and value of the Subaru Legacy.
