Subarus are known for their durability. Many of the customers at Budd Baer Subaru have come to us looking for rugged vehicles with spacious cabins and a lot of capability. The Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek are some of the attractive options that fit that description, and the company has recently released Wilderness trims of these three models.

The Wilderness trims are suited for off-roading. They ride on all-terrain tires and have higher ground clearance than their counterparts. The Outback Wilderness sits 9.5 inches off the ground, while the Forester has a clearance of 9.2 inches, and the Crosstrek is perched 9.3 inches off the ground.

They all come standard with dual-mode X-MODE programs that can enhance their all-wheel-drive capability whenever the conditions become tough. Further, they have revised gearing so that they can do a better job climbing steep slopes.

Any of our Subaru SUVs can handle towing cargo. The Crosstrek Wilderness and Outback Wilderness can tow as much as 3,500 pounds, and the Forester Wilderness can haul up to 3,000 pounds. This is significantly more towing capacity than their counterparts showcase, making them attractive to anyone who needs to transport heavy loads.

Subaru has enhanced these Wilderness trims with unique stylistic details. They're the only trims available in a Geyser Blue exterior paint color and the only ones with anti-glare hood decals. In addition, they have Anodized Copper accents in various places, including on their roof rails and as part of their interior accent stitching.

Their StarTex upholstery is easy to wipe off, and since it's water resistant, it's ideal for those who frequently go on Washington, PA, excursions that might involve getting a bit dirty.

With all of these features, these Subaru Wilderness trims seem ready for anything.
