With featured systems like Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Sway and Departure Warning, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management, new EyeSight technology available in select new Subaru cars and SUVs are changing the way that we drive.
If you've ever felt like you needed an extra pair of eyes when driving in Pittsburgh or Bethel Park, this intuitive suite of safety features could be just what you're looking for. Add in Subaru's crystal-clear rearview camera that is now standard on nearly every model, and you've got safety on lockdown.
What is Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology?
Front-mounted cameras near the rearview mirror constantly monitor the road ahead of you; these cameras "speak" to the rest of your car to warn you of obstacles in your path, of vehicles that may be slowing down more quickly than you'd anticipated, and can even tell you if you're drifting out of your lane (without a blinker on).
It's one of the most intuitive systems for the money, and available now.
As part of Subaru's commitment to providing safer and more secure vehicles, EyeSight technology is becoming more readily and easily available on a wider range of models.
Subaru Models That Offer EyeSight Driver Assist Technology
EyeSight is available--or standard--on select model trims for:
- Subaru Crosstrek
- Subaru Forester
- Subaru Impreza
- Subaru Legacy
- Subaru Outback
- Subaru WRX
The BRZ coupe is currently the only model not to offer available EyeSight technology, but we imagine that will be changing with future model-years.
